Wradial Beta License Agreement

This Agreement is the contract between you and the maker of Wradial. You accept it when you check “I agree to the license terms and conditions” in the installer, or when you install or use the Wradial desktop application (the “Software”). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

Last updated: June 24, 2026

The short version

  • Wradial is a free private beta, licensed to you, not sold. You can use it for personal or commercial work.
  • It's provided “as-is,” with no warranty. Keep a backup of anything you rely on.
  • Your wheels, snippets, scripts, and clipboard stay on your device. We never collect your keystrokes, clipboard, window titles, or the contents of your work.
  • We collect a small amount of data: anonymous download counts, your beta email and license key, an anonymous install ID for activation, and opt-in crash/feedback reports. Section 6 lists exactly what, and what we never touch.
  • Don't reverse-engineer the app to clone it, redistribute modified installers under the Wradial name, or use it to break the law.
  • This Agreement is governed by Arizona law. We may update it and will flag meaningful changes.

The plain-language summary above is for convenience; the numbered sections below are the operative terms. For the full picture of data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Who this Agreement is with

“Wradial,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Mitchell Reinboldt, an individual based in Arizona, USA, doing business as “Wradial.” “You” means the person or organization installing or using the Software. By checking the agreement box in the installer, or by installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

2. License grant

Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to download, install, and use the Software on devices you own or control, for any lawful personal or commercial purpose.

The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Software, including its compiled binaries. This license does not grant you any rights to our source code, trademarks, logos, or brand assets, except as needed to run the Software normally.

3. Pro features and license keys

Wradial has a free tier and a paid “Pro” tier unlocked with a license key. If you receive or purchase a key:

  • The key is licensed to you for activation on up to the number of devices stated for that key.
  • Keys are personal to you. Don't share, sublicense, resell, or publish them.
  • Activation and periodic re-validation use an anonymous install identifier, described in Section 6. The free tier does not require activation.
  • We may suspend or revoke a key that is shared, abused, charged back, or obtained fraudulently. During the beta, Pro capabilities may change as the product evolves.

4. Beta status: no warranty of stability

Wradial is pre-1.0, pre-release software offered as a free private beta. Features may change, break, or be removed between versions, and you may encounter bugs, data loss, or instability. Keep your own backup of any configuration you depend on. The beta carries no service-level commitment and no guarantee of support, uptime, or backward compatibility. If you need software that carries SLAs or formal support, Wradial is not yet that software.

5. Acceptable use and restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Software to violate any law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software to clone or recreate it, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
  • Redistribute modified installers or builds under the Wradial name, or misrepresent the origin of the Software.
  • Remove or alter the license-enforcement, activation, or attribution mechanisms, or circumvent the free/Pro tiering.
  • Disrupt, probe, or attempt to compromise the infrastructure that serves the app, updates, website, or community.

6. What data Wradial collects

Wradial is local-first. Your radial layouts, trigger bindings, text snippets, scripts, pinned clipboard items, and preferences are stored on your device in %APPDATA%\Wradial\ and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Wradial\, and never leave your machine unless you export them or choose to send a diagnostic report. The data we do receive is limited to the following.

6.1 Downloads (automatic, anonymous)

When you download the installer from our site, we record a count keyed only by installer filename and a two-letter country code derived from your connection. We do not store your IP address, user agent, or any identifier with that count. As with any website, our host (Cloudflare) briefly processes standard request metadata to serve and protect the site.

6.2 Beta access and email

If you request beta access or sign up for updates, we collect the email address you submit so we can send your invite, license key, and occasional release notes. Email is delivered through our email provider (Resend) and stored alongside any license key we issue you. You can unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to delete your address at [email protected].

6.3 License activation and validation (Pro only)

When you activate a Pro license, the Software sends your license key and a randomly generated, anonymous install ID (a value that is not your name, hostname, username, or IP) to our licensing service (hosted on Cloudflare) so a key can be limited to a set number of devices. The Software periodically re-validates that same key and ID. We store the key, the anonymous install ID, and activation timestamps. None of it identifies your machine or who you are. The free tier makes no activation calls.

6.4 Crash reports (opt-in, off by default)

If, and only if, you turn on crash reporting in Settings, the Software may send crash diagnostics (via Sentry) containing the Wradial and Windows version, a configuration summary (your trigger key and the names and counts of your wheels, not their contents), the process name of the focused app (e.g. “chrome”, never the window title), and the exception stack trace. This channel is configured not to send default personal identifiers and is disabled until you enable it.

6.5 In-app feedback and bug reports (opt-in)

When you choose to send feedback, we receive what you write (a summary, details, and any steps you add), an optional contact email if you provide one, and, if you leave the diagnostics box checked, the same kind of configuration summary as above plus recent application log lines and the file path (not the contents) of your settings file. Reports are sent over HTTPS to our endpoint on Cloudflare; as with any web request, our infrastructure processes standard request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver and protect the service. Reports are kept only as long as needed to investigate, then discarded.

6.6 What we never collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store your keystrokes, clipboard contents, window titles, screen contents, the text of your snippets or scripts, your wheel/action contents, or any workflow payloads. We don't sell or broker data, run ad networks, or use session replay, heatmaps, or visitor-profiling analytics.

6.7 Service providers

We rely on a few third parties to operate Wradial: Cloudflare (website, downloads, update manifests, licensing, and feedback intake), Sentry (opt-in crash reporting), Resend (email delivery), and Google Fonts (web fonts, which means Google receives your IP and user agent when a page loads its fonts). Each provider's terms govern the part it provides. Our Privacy Policy describes this in more detail and lists your choices, including how to opt out and how to request deletion.

7. Feedback you send us

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Wradial, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to operate and improve our products, without obligation or compensation to you. You don't have to send feedback, and you should not send us anything you consider confidential.

8. Intellectual property

The Software, the Wradial name and logo, and the website and its content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the license in Section 2, this Agreement gives you no rights in our intellectual property.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Software is provided “as-is” and “as-available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your requirements or preserve your data. You use the Software at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost productivity, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the Software or this Agreement, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Software, which for the free beta is US$0. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may end this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the Software and deleting your local Wradial data. We may suspend or terminate your license (and revoke a Pro key) if you materially breach this Agreement; where practical, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem. Sections 6 through 13 survive termination.

12. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved informally, and you consent to venue there. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the laws of your home jurisdiction.

13. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement as Wradial evolves. We'll announce meaningful changes on the site and in the newsletter, and update the “Last updated” date above. If you continue to use the Software after a change takes effect, you accept the revised Agreement.
